The Namsan Hanok Village is located
just below Namsan,
a major landmark of Seoul.
The village was created
by moving five hanoks, in which
commoners lived
in during the Joseon Dynasty,
to the area.
You can enter the house and compare
the differences of the structure
of the house and furniture
in different houses
depending on the owner’s status.
There are pavilions and ponds that
take on the traditional style of gardens
in the Joseon dynasty,
where you can enjoy
the view of Namsan.
If you visit during the weekend,
you can often see
an actual traditional wedding ceremony.
